(for allies)

Solidarity means we keep showing up. We encourage you to come back to this supporter toolkit regularly and consider what you can do to learn, engage and act on an ongoing basis. Being a good and active ally means that these actions need to be part of your regular routine, recognising that when people stop actively pursuing new ideas and action for change, it stalls. Please sign up to our newsletters so you can know what’s happening at WYUT on an ongoing basis and what new resources, opportunities and work women are doing across our network are doing.

We encourage you to be innovative and creative! What’s missing from this toolkit that you could also be doing to support First Nations Gender Justice (then let us know and we can add it)! Practice might look like regular walks with friends learning about the Indigenous history of the place are moving through and sharing that knowledge with others. It might be thinking critically about the ways of working and developing news ways of responding to the questions in the Change Agenda about what they mean. It could be regular journaling, fundraising for your local women’s collective, exploring the Indigenous section at your local bookstore or all of these things together. Do what works for you, and make sure you do it regularly!
